Members’ Council
Fedecom Members’ Council consists of eleven members nominated by the branch boards. As a result, the Members’ Council reflects the various sectors within the association. The Members’ Council represents the members, establishes the broad outlines of the association’s policy, and oversees the board. In addition, the Members’ Council approves, among other things, the budget, annual financial statements, and the policy and lobbying agenda. In this way, the Members’ Council ensures that Fedecom direction enjoys broad support among its membership.

Association Board
Fedecom ’s board consists of the chairs of the five divisions and an independent chair, who also serves as chair of the members’ council. The division chairs act as the link between their respective constituencies and the association’s board. They convey feedback, opportunities, challenges, and industry developments from the chapters, giving the board a clear picture of current issues within the various sectors. Based on this input, the board, together with the chapters, determines the association’s policy and lobbying agenda. Once approved by the Members’ Council, this agenda is implemented. The board reports annually to the Members’ Council on the policies pursued and the results achieved.

Networks play an important role within Fedecom. They serve as a valuable platform where entrepreneurs, specialists, and industry peers can meet, share knowledge, and exchange experiences. Within these networks, current developments are discussed and insights from the field are gathered, such as challenges related to the application of new technologies, vehicle registration issues, crop protection, laws and regulations, and other business-related topics.
Input from the networks helps Fedecom effectively advocate for the sector’s interests and respond promptly to new developments. At the same time, the networks ensure that members remain well-informed about current industry trends and the activities, positions, and initiatives the association is developing. The Tractors and Telehandlers Network brings together manufacturers and importers of tractors, telehandlers, and similar machinery. Participants exchange knowledge and experiences on current topics, discuss market developments, and share their insights on issues such as vehicle registration, machine safety, regulations, and technological advancements.
Challenges and insights from the field are shared through the network and relayed to the Agricultural Technology Division Board. In this way, the network makes a direct contribution to Fedecom advocacy efforts and activities. This network meets on average twice a year.

This network brings together companies active in the fields of autonomous vehicles, robotics, data, and sensor technology. Participants share knowledge and experiences regarding technological developments, practical applications, laws and regulations, and the opportunities that digitization offers the sector.
The network identifies developments and challenges related to topics such as product development, autonomous operations, data usage, connectivity, artificial intelligence, and sensor integration. This input is fed back to the Agricultural Engineering Division Board and contributes to Fedecom’s advocacy and innovation agenda. This network meets on average twice a year.

Within the network, knowledge and experiences are exchanged regarding market developments, laws and regulations, sustainability, innovation, and international trends.
Furthermore, the network serves as a platform for discussing shared challenges and opportunities. Feedback from the field is relayed to the relevant department board, thereby forming an important basis for Fedecom advocacy and activities. This network meets on average once a year for a major gathering.
