Education and labor market

Quality education begins with effective collaboration between the education sector and the professional field.

We consult regularly with various educational institutions, training providers, and partners such as the SBB regarding the content and quality of educational programs. We incorporate industry developments and work to ensure that education remains aligned with real-world practice. We encourage regional collaborations between educational institutions and businesses. We also represent the sector’s interests in discussions regarding education and the labor market.

We support the development of employees

Technological and societal developments are occurring at a rapid pace. That is why it is important for employees to continue developing their knowledge and skills, and for employers to adapt to changes in the labor market and to foster an attractive work environment. This ensures that employees remain employable, can continue to do their jobs well and with enjoyment, and increases the likelihood that businesses will retain their employees.

We organize knowledge sessions, share up-to-date information, and connect business owners with experts on topics such as being an attractive employer, sustainable employability, and employee development. To this end, we work closely with OOM (Training and Development Fund for Metalworking) to ensure a tailored range of services. We collaborate with training providers, including Aeres Tech, to offer employers and employees tailored opportunities for continuing education, retraining, and professional development.
