Vacancy: Policy officer Agrotechnology

Would you like to work at the intersection of agricultural technology, policy, and advocacy? As an Agrotechnology Policy Officer at Fedecom , you’ll play a key role in current issues that shape the future of our industry.

You follow developments in laws and regulations and translate them into practice for our members. Think of themes such as machine safety, sustainability, emissions, digitalization, precision agriculture, autonomy and innovation.

We are looking for someone who is analytically strong, communicates clearly, and can make complex subjects understandable to practitioners. Someone who feels at home on the cutting edge of technology and policy, works independently and at the same time enjoys working with members and colleagues.

Your duties will include:

• identifying and analyzing national and international laws and regulations;
• Translating policy developments into practice for our members;
• Maintaining contact with ministries, regulators, knowledge institutions and other industry organizations;
• Preparation of positions, position papers, memoranda and responses to consultations;
• Informing and supporting members through news releases, meetings and theme sessions;
• Collaborate with sector managers on projects, dossiers and current issues.
