Tractor Statistics 2024

The tractor sales figures for 2024 have been released. The number of tractors reported by participating Dutch tractor importers totals 2,526. This represents a decrease of 136 tractors, or 5.1%, compared to 2023.

Fedecom also has access to RDW figures. These figures paint a more positive picture. They pertain to tractors with a first national registration in 2024 that exceed 45 kW. This open database also shows the numbers by brand.

Based on RDW data, the following figures are projected for 2024:

• The total number of tractors in these statistics is 2,640. In 2023, there were 2,654 first registrations, representing a slight decrease of 14 tractors, or 0.5%.

• We also see that three tractor brands are competing for the most registrations. Based on these figures, CNH registered the most tractors in 2024, namely 527 tractors.
  

Discrepancies may arise because tractors have already been registered but have not yet been delivered to the end customer. Fedecom statistics are based on delivery to the end customer. We know that many tractors are traditionally sold in December, but may not be delivered until the new year.
