Tractor Market Analyzed Based on License Plate Registration

Since January, Fedecom has had access to an RDW data tool. This tool generates analyses of all agricultural machinery registered in categories C, T, S, R, and U. These figures are published monthly on our website, and with a license for the expert version, users can perform their own analyses.

Fedecom publishes annual tractor statistics based on input from tractor importers. Attached to this post is a similar and more comprehensive publication, based on RDW figures. What stands out here is that our tractor market is larger than indicated by the annual reports from importers. 39% of the total number of tractors is imported from neighboring countries (2023). A chart showing the numbers by power class is also included. This shows that tractors with a power output between 125 and 135 kW are the best-selling models.
