More than 80 instructors gain in-depth knowledge at Mechan

The annual professional development day of TIM Platform – Tech in Motion January 30, 2026, was entirely dedicated to learning, sharing, and connecting. More than 80 vocational (MBO) instructors specializing in mobile machinery participated in this highly successful event. Thanks to the collaboration with Bijscholingvmbo.nl, VMBO teachers also joined this year. This is a wonderful and important expansion, particularly with a view to ensuring a strong, continuous learning pathway and a steady influx of new talent into the sector.

The event was hosted by Mechan in Achterveld. Thanks to their dedication and commitment, this professional development day was made possible. Mechan led hands-on workshops on topics including transmission systems, GPS applications, and electronics. A powerful example of how education and the business community work together to directly link practical knowledge and theory.

Tim the Trainer

During the event, special attention was given to Tim the Trainer, the new AI model from Tech in Motion (TIM). This model was trained using real-world industry knowledge and teaching materials developed by TIM. Thanks to funding from Fedecom , this innovation has been realized, marking the next step in future-oriented education. Tim de Trainer will support students, instructors, and industry professionals with reliable, practical answers.
