The SLIM Program Gives Companies the Flexibility to Identify Their Development Needs
Our industry is in a state of constant change. The agricultural sector and all sectors that supply it, collaborate with it, or produce for it are moving forward alongside it during these challenging times. The electrification of mobile equipment and agricultural machinery, robotization, the energy transition, nitrogen-related issues, and other environmental requirements… All of this demands an optimal, flexible approach from a company and its employees. That is why Fedecom is encouraging learning and development among our members, especially during these times.

Of course, this requires setting aside both time and money. Thanks to Fedecom efforts, funding was not an issue in previous years. The government grant from the first SLIM program financed various development initiatives. As a result, 12 companies gained greater insight into the training and development needs within their organizations.

Securing the Sector’s Future
Adapting, keeping pace with change, learning new things, being flexible, staying curious, and eliminating waste: these are the key ways to survive this storm of change. With its second SLIM application, Fedecom aims to focus once again on growth to secure the future of our sector. As employees perform better and work more efficiently, a company’s growth is maximized, and both employees and customers are more satisfied.

Funding is still available
The second tranche runs through October 2025. As things stand now, there is sufficient funding to help a number of additional companies.
