Agreement Reached on New Collective Bargaining Agreement for the Metalworking Industry

The new collective bargaining agreement is effective from February 1, 2026, through January 31, 2028.

The employers’ organization FWT and the trade unions— , FNV, CNV, and De Unie—have reached a negotiated agreement on a new collective bargaining agreement for the Metalworking Sector, which is part of the collective bargaining agreements in the Metal & Technology sector.

The new collective bargaining agreement is effective from February 1, 2026, through January 31, 2028, and provides for a responsible wage increase, taking into account current economic uncertainties and offering opportunities for young people to enter the sector.
