PIB Application for France Approved

Fedecom , together with FME, submitted an application to RVO for a Partners for International Business (PIB) program: an initiative through which twelve Dutch robotics and data companies will explore the French market. This application was approved in early August.

Together with the Dutch Embassy in Paris and RVO, Fedecom and FME are now setting up a multi-year program of activities to support participating companies in building their networks and establishing their position in France. There is significant interest in connecting with cooperatives, CUMAs, and dealer networks there. The goal is to get to know these parties well and then organize technology demonstrations, with the expectation that the products will prove their worth once they are showcased in real-world applications.

The First Steps

The activities we are launching:

• finding a local liaison who is familiar with the French network;
• a stakeholder analysis and a more focused market orientation during the winter months, centered on laws and regulations, subsidy opportunities, and an inventory of relevant CUMAs and dealer networks;
• Starting with the next growing season, one or more joint visits to France to meet with key stakeholders and organize demonstrations;
• inviting a select group of relevant parties to visit the Netherlands.

Signing of the action plan

We plan to sign the action plan in September. This is also necessary to officially appoint the liaison and then get started promptly. Even after signing, there will still be room to adjust, add, or remove activities in consultation; the program is therefore not yet fully finalized.
