Are you looking for students? Make sure you’re easy to find
In September, schoolyards and lecture halls will be filling up again. Many students will have already secured an internship or apprenticeship by then, but certainly not all of them. New opportunities also arise later in the year: an internship in the second semester, a capstone project, or an apprenticeship after switching programs.
For companies, this means one thing: being visible where students are actually looking.
For MBO students, this is handled through SBB. If you are a recognized training company, your organization is listed in the training company registry on Stagemarkt.nl. But simply being recognized isn’t enough. The search results for internships and apprenticeships only show the training positions you have registered yourself. If nothing is listed there, a student won’t see your company when he or she is actively searching.
You can register new apprenticeships or update existing job openings via MijnSBB. There, you can also complete your company profile. A new apprenticeship listing is usually visible within ten minutes.
JobTeaser is widely used by students at universities of applied sciences and research universities. Through your college or university’s career center, you can register your company and promote internships, graduation projects, traineeships, and entry-level positions.
However, being visible isn’t the same as staying visible. What’s posted on these platforms often forms the first impression a student has of your organization. It’s therefore worth checking your listings regularly and keeping them up to date.
This increases the likelihood that students will find your company when they’re looking for an internship, an apprenticeship, or their first step in their career.
