Finding new employees is a challenge. But keeping your current employees engaged and helping them grow is just as important! For young employees up to about 35 years old in particular, expectations, personal development, and work-life balance are playing an increasingly important role. Different generations also work together on the job, each with their own perspective on work and collaboration. How do you best manage this?

Fedecom and the OOM training fund are organizing interactive knowledge sessions on collaboration and on mentoring and connecting (young) employees. The central question is: Is this a generational issue, a leadership issue, or a combination of both? And what does this require of you as a manager?

What can you expect?

  • Tips for Strengthening Intergenerational Collaboration
  • Practical case studies and relatable examples
  • Practical tools that can be applied immediately
  • Interaction and exchange with fellow entrepreneurs and managers

Based on your situation, OOM offers a free and tailored follow-up program (for member companies).

Who are the knowledge sessions for?

These free knowledge sessions are intended for directors, managers, and supervisors at Fedecom member companies affiliated with OOM in the fields of agricultural technology, horticultural technology, industry, civil engineering, and internal transportation.

What, when, and where?

The sessions include dinner. Doors open at 3:30 p.m., and the program runs from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Three knowledge sessions are scheduled:

  • Tuesday, February 24, 2026 – Aventus in Apeldoorn
  • Thursday, February 26, 2026 – Yuverta in Boxtel
  • Wednesday, March 18, 2026 – Firda in Heerenveen
