Innovations? Enter the competition for the Bronzen Sikkel and Gouden Klavertje Vier ” innovation awards

Are you an exhibitor at the Agrotechniek Holland or GroenTechniek Holland trade show in 2024 and showcasing your innovations? Then enter the competition for the Bronzen Sikkel and Gouden Klavertje Vier awards. This year’s trade show will take place from September 11 through 14 at the event grounds near Walibi in Biddinghuizen.

Bronzen Sikkel
At AgroTechniek Holland 2024, the largest agricultural event in the Netherlands, manufacturers, importers, and dealers will launch numerous new products for farmers and contractors. To encourage innovative companies, the trade show awards a prize at every edition. The most striking innovation is awarded the Bronzen Sikkel. This innovation prize is awarded by a panel of industry experts.

Gouden Klavertje Vier
A major highlight for the horticultural sector will once again be the selection of the Gouden Klavertje Vier. Products, technologies, or services that are truly innovative—meaning they have never been seen before—can be nominated for this innovation award.

Submit an Innovation
Are you presenting innovations as an exhibitor? Register them quickly and easily via the Expoloket. Please include:

  • In no more than 150 words, provide a clear description of the product and what makes the innovation groundbreaking for the sector/user
  • One or more clear (preferably high-resolution) illustrations (max 3 MB)
  • A clear listing of the company name, contact person, phone number, and email address, including a website where more information about the product can be found

Submissions will only be accepted if they:

  1. Exhibit in person at GroenTechniek Holland AgroTechniek Holland
  2. Never before exhibited at an agricultural trade show in the Benelux

Winners of the 2022 Innovation Awards

Bronzen Sikkel 2022 Award for Nucrop van Kamps de Wild BV
The expert jury unanimously awarded the 2022 Bronzen Sikkel innovation prize to Nucrop van Kamps de Wild BV: “A new, sustainable method of foliage control using a conductive liquid and an electric current, which kills the treated foliage in a single pass and immediately halts growth. This makes it possible to kill foliage entirely without the use of chemicals. A valuable innovation for the sector that more than deserves the 2022 Bronzen Sikkel .”

Gouden Klavertje Vier 2022 for the Fluid Feeder from Vredo Dodewaard BV
The Fluid Feeder from Vredo Dodewaard BV won the Gouden Klavertje Vier 2022, the innovation award for the most outstanding innovation at GroenTechniek Holland. “This machine, equipped with the Vredo double-disc system, injects liquids directly into the root zone without them coming into contact with UV light. This allows for the application of (bio)stimulants, as well as liquids containing special nematodes to control grubs. A significant advancement and a well-deserved winner,” according to the jury. Knegt International won the GTH People’s Choice Award with its electric tractor, receiving nearly 32% of all votes.
