European tractor registrations to decline in 2023 due to falling demand in the second half of the year

According to figures from national authorities, a total of 211,700 tractors were registered across Europe in 2023. CEMA estimates that 158,100 of these vehicles are agricultural tractors, of which 26,200 (17%) 37 kW (50 pk) or less and 131,900 (83%) at 38 kW or more. The remainder consists of a variety of vehicles that are sometimes classified as tractors, including ATVs, side-by-side utility vehicles, telehandlers, and a few other types of equipment.
