DRT List Expanded
In a press release, the Technical Committee for Technology Assessment states that the DRT list has been expanded to include the Lochmann NL cross-flow sprayer with Air Closing System, models NL255 and NL210, in DRT class 99%.

After reviewing a substantiated application, the Technical Committee for Technology Assessment (TCT) has expanded the DRT list. The application was submitted by Van der Linden Fruitteelt Machines. The Lochmann NL cross-flow sprayer with Air Closing System, models NL255 (height of 2.50 meters) and NL210 (height of 2.20 meters), in combination with spray nozzles of at least DRD class 90% and adjusted air assistance settings when spraying the outermost three rows of fruit crops, has been classified in the DRT class 99%.

Other specifications include a low air setting, a maximum PTO speed of 300 rpm, and a maximum travel speed of 8 km/h. This spraying technology, classified as DRT Class 99%, is included in Table 3 of the DRT list. As of January 1, 2024, the Environment Act and, with it, the Living Environment Activities Decree came into effect. In connection with this, the introduction to the DRT list and DRD list has been updated. Information regarding drift-reducing spraying techniques and spray nozzles is available as of January 1, 2024, on the Living Environment Information Center website. This website replaces the Helpdesk Water website.
