Who is Fedecom for?
We serve technology development companies, manufacturers, importers, exporters, and dealers in the fields of agricultural, livestock, and horticultural technology; civil engineering; and internal transportation. Companies that provide services—such as maintenance, repair, consulting, or rental of machinery and technical systems—are also welcome to join.

Members & Associate Members
Our association has members and associate members. Both have the same rights and obligations.
Regular members are members of Koninklijke Metaalunie or another employers’ organization and operate as technology development companies, manufacturers, resellers, rental companies, or maintenance and repair companies for machinery, systems, or equipment used in agriculture, (greenhouse) horticulture, green and public spaces, industry, internal transport, construction, or infrastructure. You are registered in the Chamber of Commerce trade register as a corporation, legal entity, or sole proprietorship, and you are based in the Netherlands or have a trade and sales organization focused on the Dutch market. The products covered by membership include agricultural and horticultural machinery, garden and park machinery, tractors, mobile machinery, and equipment, including associated software, parts, and components.
You can become an associate member if you are active in our sector but do not meet all the criteria for regular membership. You may join as an associate member if your membership is deemed to be in the best interest of the association.
Departments
Based on your application form, we will assign you to the division that best matches your primary activity. Would you like to join multiple divisions? That’s possible: in addition to your primary division, you can also be assigned to one or more secondary divisions.
Membership application
To be admitted, you must meet the following criteria:
- You are active in the technological development, production, trade, or servicing of machinery and technical equipment
- You must have a permanent office or workshop location
- In addition to yourself, you must employ at least one employee (1 FTE)
- Your business must have been active for at least 1 year
- Your annual financial statements have been filed with the Chamber of Commerce, or you can submit an auditor’s report
- Are you a dealer? Then you must be an official dealer for at least one brand, as evidenced by an agreement with the importer or manufacturer.
Do you meet all the criteria? If so, you will be admitted without further ado. If you do not meet them, we will first seek advice from the board. If you fail to meet three or more criteria, we will reject your application.
